Leadership Training
Training in Balint group leadership
The training of Balint group leaders is conducted in our Society following the British training model as our first leaders were trained by the Balint Society that was founded by the disciples of Michael and Enid Balint in the UK. Our Society, member of the International Balint Federation, provides the accreditation upon successful completion of the training that includes participation in a group as a member, co-leading a group with an accredited leader, group and individual supervision and discussions on theory. The prospective group leaders are usually doctors and psychologists (or other health professionals) who are interested in the dynamics of the clinical relationship and have the desire to be trained as group leaders.
For more information on the training programme you can contact the Responsible person for training of the Hellenic Balint Groups, Mrs Lida Bitrou, at [email protected] or by phone at 210 8016400.
